Thomas has always been a car enthusiast. Much of his youth was spent admiring and identifying hundreds of cars while walking the streets of his native New York City. Even before he had a driver’s license, Thomas became the go-to expert for friends and family in search of a great car deal. As his expertise in the auto industry and its products grew, he realized how antiquated and aggravating the leasing process can be for people without insider knowledge. In 2019, he founded Auto Ninjas with the goal of using technology to make the auto leasing process as transparent and as stress free as possible while delivering unbeatable deals. Thomas began his career at General Motors and is a proud Lehigh University alum. When he’s not behind the wheel, you can find him on the basketball court.

Chris Szafranski

Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer

Chris teamed up with Thomas to disrupt the traditional car-buying experience. With his expertise in Fintech Software Development at Visa, he led the development of Auto Ninjas' unique user experience and maintains its cutting-edge technology. A native of New Jersey, Chris now lives in California and holds two U.S. patents with international filings. Chris is a Lehigh University graduate who enjoys philosophy, nature, and cars!

Matt Ongsiako

Chief Operations Officer

Originally from the dealership world, Matt spent almost 10 years in management for brands such as Mazda, Volkswagen, and Audi. As an early Auto Ninjas partner while a sales manager in Florida, Matt left the dealership in 2021 and joined Auto Ninjas in an effort to modernize and disrupt the currently outdated auto market. As a true enthusiast at heart, Matt has owned multiple vehicles including a recent BMW M340i, a JLU Wrangler, and a 2016 Miata, and is currently working on restoring a 1997 Miata for his wife. When Matt is not wrenching or working, you will likely find him at a local beach with his Wife and Jack-Chi puppy near his SW Florida home.

Alberto Gonzalez

Director of Acquisitions

Shortly after moving from Miami to SW FI, Alberto started his career in the car business, right away he found success and became a top salesperson at a dealership of 40+ salespeople, he approached every guest the same way and excelled at providing a great customer experience by being transparent and professional all the way through. He sees these values at Auto Ninjas and this was a major reason for him to want to join the team! When is off, Alberto enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, and experiencing outdoor activities in the great state of Florida!

Jed Danziger

Director of Dealer Growth

With a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Finance from The University of Rochester, Jed worked as a financial reporting analyst at a wealth management firm in Stamford, CT. During that time, he managed several client engagements, providing detailed financial reports to private equity firms and mid-size family offices. However successful in finance, Jed realized that the auto industry was his calling. From a young age, he made it a priority to help family and friends get the best possible deal on car leases. Not only was Jed passionate about getting the deal, but also figuring out what vehicle would work best for any specific client.

His lifelong passion for cars started as a kid, collecting every Hot Wheels he could get his hands on, and eventually grew into a thriving career in the automotive industry. With over a decade of experience, including running his own private dealership, Garrett is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and maintaining top-tier communication. Outside of work, he enjoys taking his jet ski to the beach or meticulously detailing his cars for the next Cars & Coffee event, reflecting his unwavering love for all things automotive.

Michael grew up around sports and sport cars, so it made sense that athletics would get him through schooling, and the auto industry would be his pathway into a career. He has a broad range of experience from top to bottom, including mechanic shops, rentals, and dealerships. Vehicles are more than just a job, they are a passion. Helping others enjoy and be excited over them adds fulfillment that only this industry can provide. With dedication and an emphasis on customer satisfaction he will be sure to keep you smiling behind the wheel for miles and miles. Outside the office he continues to fuel his interest of vehicles from attending different nationwide car events, spending time with his wife and family, and the continual search for the perfect driving road.

With over 7 years of experience in developing engaging user interfaces for multiple startups, he joined Auto Ninjas to deliver a world-class user experience. When he is not in front of a computer, you can find him tinkering with carpentry or hiking through the mountains of New Mexico.
